You have the smoothest and tastiest tequila in the palm of your hands right now, and you want to enjoy it in many ways possible
So here is a classic and a refresher for you to try!
Tequila Sunrise
An oldie but a goodie. A classic. A simple cocktail that tastes of summer. But one that has the improvement in flavour with Casamigos, so it is a great starter cocktail to try with your Casamigos.
Serves 4
You will need:
- 1 cup crushed ice
- 1/2 cups of Casamigos
- 2 cups of chilled orange juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoon of grenadine
What you need to do:
- Fill cups with ice
- Pour over the tequila and top with orange juice
- Pour the grenadine into the center of each glass so that it sinks to the bottom
Mojitarita
If a Sunrise isn't your thing, that's OK. You can always try something different like a Mojitarita to refresh yourself with! Minty and cool is the perfect way to enjoy those last few summer weeks.
Serves 4
You will need:
- 1 cup fresh leaves, plus a few more for garnish
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 250ml Casamigos
- Cold soda water or sparkling water
- 1 lime sliced into wheels
What you need to do:
- Rip up those mint leaves and put 1/2 cup into a cocktail shaker with 1/4 cup lime juice, 2 tablespoon of sugar and 250ml of Casamigos.
- Add crushed ice and shake well
- Strain over ice into high ball glasses and top off with soda water.
- Garnish with mint leaves and lime slices
- Empty the shaker and repeat steps to make those remaining glasses
