After selective harvesting fruit was immediately taken to the winery where it was gently pressed. A short cold soak was undertaken to build mouthfeel and colour, followed by a hot ferment to maximise fl avour. Following fermentation the wine was left to rest and mature in used French oak for six months.
Vibrant red with purple edges. The nose is a typical bright fruit focused Merlot, perfumed plum, freshly dug warm earth, clove, mocha & wild berry. The palate is stewed plum, pice, tamarillo, mid palate succulence, small fine grained tannin and a dry finish.
