The Hunter Valley is renowned for its dry table wines of Semillon and Shiraz. Brokenwood's production of these is further supported by premium grapes sourced from all the right regions for all the right reasons such as Orange, Beechworth and McLaren Vale.
Tasting Notes
A terrific year for Pinot Noir and it shows in every aspect of this wine. Light to medium density with purple edges. Lifted smokey, dark cherry and pastille aromas that keep you returning to smell them. Perfect 'sweet fruit' flavours on the initial palate and then a slight maraschino cherry note. Sweet oak and juicy acidity give a long lasting flavour combination. A wine of unrestrained pleasure that can be enjoyed in the short term or over the next few years.
