Cool upper Yarra Sauv blanc with a small portion of Semillon from the Rising Vineyard. Part barrel fermented in old oak puncheons for texture and complexity. Aromatic notes of passionfruit, gooseberry and nettle are enhanced by hints of mineral flint. Elegant in style with texture and characteristic tight juicy acidity.
Tasting Notes
Fine and austere with vibrant gooseberry, passionfruit and mineral slate. Reflecting a mild season, the variety responded well with characteristic chalky acidity and great length of flavour.
