Mount Pleasant Estate was established by legendary winemaker Maurice O'Shea in 1921. Recognising qualities within his wine that reflected the personalities of family and friends, these wines continue a tradition of honouring those characters who shape our lives. It was by the light of a gas lamp that the story of Mount Pleasant was born. In 1921 the legendary Hunter Valley winemaker Maurice O'Shea, one of the founding father of the modern Australian wine industry, started his winery and today we pay homage to his winemaking skills with this collection of wines synonymous with classic Hunter Valley varieties, new styles and trends. This Chardonnay was picked at its prime from the famous Mount Pleasant Lovedale Vineyards which deliver that Classic Hunter style. Rich fruit and flavour with texture and balanced acidity make this a great complement to food as enjoying on its own.
