Meet Teresa Heuzenroeder - Petaluma Senior Wine Maker

Teresa brings an undeniable passion for meticulous wine making. Because of this, she leads the winemaking and winery management for the Petaluma & Croser brands.

After spending more than twenty years perfecting her craft, her approach to wine making stays the same. She creates wines with elegance, finesse and balance that convey their sense of place.

Teresa grew up in Adelaide, South Australia and completed a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and Microbiology in 1991. Over recent decades, she has built a reputation for crafting elegant white and sparkling wines. Along with benchmark classic reds and alternative varieties.

Teresa has a holistic, hands- on approach to winemaking and attention to detail for every element of the winemaking process.

"My style of winemaking creating wines that are refined, elegant and classic and reflective of the region or vineyard they come from. I think that’s a good summary of both what I like to drink and my winemaking style philosophy!"
