Booker Noe, sixth-generation master distiller who grew up at the Jim Beam distillery, is also known as the father of the small batch movement. He created Knob Creek to restore the standards of pre-prohibition bourbon. Following our bourbon's lead, we make Knob Creek Rye in small batches, patiently age it in the deepest charred barrels and bottle it at a full 100-proof to maintain our approach to big flavour. Then, instead of corn as the master grain, we use the highest quality rye to bring forth a unique spicy, smooth flavour for a beautiful difference.
