"APPEARANCE: Rich amber, polished mahogany highlights. BODY: Medium to full bodied. NOSE: Approachable and rich. First polished wood and nuts (toasted hazelnut) dominate, then stewed fruits (baked apples), dried fruits (sweet dates), and soft brown sugar take over. Mossy too, after a while. PALATE: Sweetness and crunchy nuts impress at first, then there’s a smooth, fruity Speyside richness to enjoy. Firm, with a balancing sweetness. Brown sugar and espresso coffee. Warming and pleasant. FINISH: Medium to long, elegantly drying and crisp, completed by a pleasant, sweetly nutty chew-ability."
