The De Bortoli family philosophy is to make wine that we love to drink. These are wines with character, imagination and a 'sense of place'. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot have been significant varieties in the Yarra Valley since the early Swiss pioneers planted the first vineyards in the 1840's. Sweet blackberry fruit, hints of classic leafiness, lovely mid palate structure and softness.
