Houghton was founded in 1836 by a syndicate of three British Army Officers and named after the most senior of the three-Lieutenant Colonel Richmond Houghton. Throughout its history, Houghton has built an enviable reputation shaping the Western Australian winemaking landscape. Houghton Chardonnay Verdelho is a full bodied blend displaying fresh stone fruit and citrus flavours with a hint of spice. The soft, juicy texture and balanced acidity lead to a sustained finish.
