Lindeman's Early Harvest Shiraz is a medium-bodied style of Shiraz with juicy plum and blackcurrant flavours, vanillin oak notes and a soft tannin structure. Lindeman's Early Harvest wines are crafted from selected parcels of flavour-ripe grapes harvested from early ripening regions in south eastern Australia. The lower sugar levels in fruit that is harvested earlier assists with keeping the alcohol levels lower than other Lindeman's wines. This range has grown from two wines in 2007 to 11 popular varieties including red, white, sweet and sparkling styles. Lindeman's is one of Australia's pioneering wine brands with more than 170 years of winemaking heritage. Founded by Dr. Henry Lindeman in 1843, it was one of the first wineries established in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. By 1862, Lindeman's wines were being exhibited widely around the world.
