The Octomore series is a powerful illustration of the art of the master distiller with each bottling necessarily unique, limited and never to be reproduced. Each individual expression is hand-crafted by the Progressive Hebridean Distiller’s of Bruichladdich on the remote island of Islay. For Octomore 10.1, the nose is vanilla led, caramel with hints of smoke but tamed back.
Tasting Notes
Notes of candied apple, gooseberry and marzipan. Soft yet powerful and warming on the palate, peppery, barley sugar, smokey – dried earth and hints of rubber. Warm sand, sweetness of charred oak and pineapple.
